Work on a checklist of things to look for in a property/town and things to avoid. Help around the farm in the morning and afternoon feeding/caring/learning about the animals (it’s a bit of a Noah’s ark here with ponies, peacocks, alpacas, sheep, goats, chickens, bunnies etc). Plant trees & veges, fix fences, and get your hands dirty…or if that all sounds too hard ...head up to the local winery for refreshments and hear about their tree change!
